PGMA declares Cory Aquino day

Tomorrow will be a non working holiday because the president of the Philippines declares August 5, to be a non working holiday. This is another holiday which PGMA added to the calendar. Don’t get me wrong I like former president Cory Aquino and I think that she deserves this holiday to be declared for being a good servant of the lord and of the people but I think that the current president is just using this to get sympathized from the people. Most of the people of the Philippines are disappointed at her performance.

This is just a way for her to popularize herself for doing something good in the eyes of the few. Just like the convicted OFW in Saudi Arabia wherein he declared as a hero after he was set free. As I remember he was given a heroes welcome despite the fact that he didn’t really have a visa to go to work. I think that his name is Angelo but I have forgotten the details since it is a long time ago.

Now the president is using the current events again to become popular in the eyes of many but I think that it wouldn’t work this time since the people are so tired of her.
